I guess he thought if he tried it again, this time it might be more funny. Nah, not really. Very predictable and Cameron Diaz was just awful in this role. She annoyed me more than I think was intended by the director. So anyway, I think I might have accidentally laughed once, but that was only because I thought of this funny story from college because I was so un-entertained while watching this. The psychological understanding of the characters and their ability to overcome the things that had held them back for so long was ever so slightly interesting and encouraging, but that's the best it had to offer.
